My Christmas holidays were good. I ate a lot of chocolates, sweets and traditional Christmas desserts. I got many gifts; boxes of chocolates, bracelets and a beautiful T-Shirt. I spent Christmas Eve with my mother Maria do Céu, my brother Messias and my sister Alexandra.
I spent New Year´s Eve in Venice with my parents and grandparents.

My Christmas holidays were good. On the first week, I woke at twelve o’clock, took a shower, brushed my teeth and then watched TV until two o’clock. At half past two I had lunch and then I, my brother and my three cousins played football, Play station or computer games. After this I had dinner.  On Christmas day I went to my grandmother’s house and there I got a Nintendo Wii, shirts, jeans, jackets, and games for the Nintendo Wii. On the second week I played Nintendo Wii with my mother, father, brother and my cousins all the time.

On my Christmas holidays I stayed at my grandparents’ home because my mother spent the days at work.
On Christmas Day I ate turkey with my mother, my grandfather, my grandmother and my great-grandmother.
I played Monopoly and cards with my neighbour, Luís.
I got a lot of very presents but I was very sad because my grandfather was in the hospital in Coimbra. My great-grandmother also had to go to the Hospital, in Tomar,  on New Year’s Day.

On my Christmas holidays I didn’t do anything interesting. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I got up at a quarter past eight because I had a swimming training from nine o’clock until eleven. In the afternoon, I went to the swimming pool again.
On the first week of my holidays, I made a present to give my secret schoolmate.
My Christmas Eve wasn’t very funny because we are only four people. The presents that I got were a game for “wii” and an umbrella.
I spent New Year’s Eve at home with my mother.
These were my holidays.

Classes finished, the holidays started and everything was dark around me. You can think that I don’t like the holidays but you are wrong! I really like holidays but in that moment I wanted to have more classes!
On the first day of holidays I got up late, and I was very lazy. The days after that were the same, but on the 23rd December my cousins came to Tomar and the fun started.
On Christmas Day, my mum, my aunt and I started to prepare the food and the place. At night all my family came to my house and at midnight we opened the presents. I receive a lot of presents: clothes, books…, but the present that I liked the most was a new computer. Every year my family goes to church the day after Christmas and this year wasn’t an exception. After that we had lunch in my house. In the afternoon we stayed at home watching films and playing games. On the 26th my cousins had to return to their houses ... New Year was coming and the first day of January finally came! We spent our day in my aunt’s house; we had lunch, played cards, watched television, had dinner and celebrated!
On the 3rd classes started again and I was really excited!

On the first Monday, I went to my grandmother’s house and I stayed there until the 25th of December. My presents there, were a jacket, a computer game and a book.
After that I went to my other grandparents’ house and there I got a wii game and a perfume. I stayed there for two days.
Then I returned home. I was not there too much time, because I spent the New Year in my beach house.
I really enjoyed my Christmas holiday, but I think it should have been bigger!
